All about PS4

Play Station 4 was announced on 20 February 2013 but it wasn’t on display for the first time until the E3 on 2013. Nowadays it’s probably the most sold game console. 

Currently Sony wants that Indies games will be converted into the most popular games, that’s why people can use the Unity platform (a game engine created by Unity Technologies). In this platform you can make different types of games because the 4.3 version is adapted for PS4 characteristics and his DualShock 4. With this the developers have the possibility of access to all  the functions as the speaker, the vibration, the luminous bar and the touch bar. 

This version is qualified for using PS4 camera to detect the position’s depth, PS Move movements and soon will be compatible with VR helmet developed by Sony.

To access Unity 4.3 it’s necessary to register yourself as developer, after that you can download the engine for use it and later you can publish the game in PSN for sharing it with other players.

Sony offers free licenses for developers to gain their attention and encourage them to develop new video games for don’t being outdated and don’t selling less than other companies.
